To achieve the best results, clean items first with Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash. There is no need to dry items before application. Protect your working surface, lay the clean wet item flat, or erect the tent. Spray evenly on the outside fabric, wait for 2 minutes, and remove any excess product with a damp cloth. Cover all areas thoroughly, applying approximately 1.5 fl oz (50ml) for every 10 square feet (1m²). For ongoing maintenance, always clean your gear with Nikwax Tent & Gear SolarWash. Do not use conventional detergents. If you need to waterproof cotton, polycotton, or canvas, consider using Nikwax Cotton Proof.
