To apply Nikwax Waterproofing Wax for Leather, clean your footwear thoroughly with Nikwax Footwear Cleaning Gel for best results. Shake the container well before use. Rub the wax into the leather using the sponge applicator or your fingers, focusing on seams for maximum protection. After application, remove any excess wax with a cloth and buff to a shine. Please note that this product may darken leather, so it's advised to test on a hidden area first. For drying, allow your footwear to dry naturally at room temperature. You can stuff paper into the toes to absorb excess moisture, replacing it when wet. Keep footwear away from fires and radiators, as quick drying can crack leather and cause bonded soles to peel.
